Golden Acorn and Outstanding Educator Awards
Each year our PTA gives Golden Acorn and Outstanding Educator Awards to people who have given exemplary service to Sunrise and the community. This is an excellent way to honor those Sunrise volunteers and educators who always go the extra mile. Recipients receive a gold acorn pin and a special certificate. In addition, recipients are honored at the Kent Area Council PTA Founder’s Day Dinner and their names will be added to the plaque that hangs in the Sunrise foyer with the names of all past recipients.
