Building Bright Futures at Sunrise Elementary!

Introducing Classroom HEROS (Helping Every student Reach Optimal Success) a new volunteer opportunity at Sunrise Elementary in partnership with the PTA, inspired by the successful Watch D.O.G.S. Program.
Representation Matters: Join Classroom HEROS and be the diverse role model every student deserves. Let's make our school community a reflection of everyone's unique backgrounds!
Extra Eyes and Ears: Teachers are superheroes, but they can't be everywhere. Classroom HEROS steps in, offering that extra support to ensure no student's needs go unnoticed. Join us in creating a more attentive Sunrise Elementary!
Belonging Starts Here: In the Classroom HEROS project, we're rewriting the script. Every student should feel seen and heard. Join us in building an inclusive Sunrise where every student belongs.

Program Goals:

Positive Diverse Role Models:
We believe in providing diverse role models, especially father figures, to demonstrate the importance of education through their presence.
Enhanced Security, Reduced Bullying:
HEROS act as an additional pair of eyes and ears, contributing to heightened school security and a decrease in bullying incidents.
I'll be a HERO!

Impact on Students:

The presence of diverse role models
positively influences students in three crucial areas:
