- Two PTA Members: For us to keep the magic of the book fair alive, we need at least two PTA members per shift. Your support ensures the doors stay open for our eager readers. BECOME A MEMBER

Can I volunteer? Yes! We need lots of volunteers! All daytime volunteers must be approved through the VIPS system. Volunteer Signup.
What is the advantage of eWallet? It is a cashless system. You can set up an account for your child to use at the fair (we can look it up from our register). Friends or family can contribute to it too. Please note that any unused funds at the end of the fair become a Scholastic gift card balance. See our Scholastic web page for more info.
Do you charge tax at the book fair? Yes, we are required by law to charge sales tax, which is now 10.2%. Students may need some help calculating the final cost of the books they would like to buy.
How do I shop online? Visit our online store! Our online fair runs for 14 days starting from the first day of in-person shopping. All orders ship home (free shipping on book-only orders over $35).
Where do the Book Fair profits go? All cash profit goes directly to the Sunrise library for the benefit of all students. We also use our Scholastic rewards profits to provide books for the library and for teachers’ classroom libraries, and for Sunrise kids in need.
